PWB singkatan dari “Printed Wire Board”, PWB merupakan papan yang terbuat dari fiber glass yang didalamnya terdapat kawat penghantar untuk menghubungkan sekian banyak komponen yang akan dijadikan suatu rangkaian yang di intergrasikan dalam satu modul. PWB dan PCB hampir sama fungsi dan jenisnya, PCB singkatan dari “Printed Circuit Board”, PCB biasanya hanya mempunyai 1 sampai dua lapisan jalur yang ditempatkan pada permukaan depan dan belakang. Berbeda dengan PWB ponsel yang mempunyai banyak lapisan jalur, bahkan bisa lebih dari 8 lapisan jalur yang disusun sedemikian rupa.

Tentunya dapat anda bayangkan suatu mesin ponsel dengan begitu banyaknya komponen bahkan sangat kecil ukurannya harus terhubung antara satu komponen dengan yang lainnya dijadikan satu rangkaian yang terintergrasi dalam satu modul, padahal PWB Ponsel sangat kecil dan dibatasi ukurannya. Agar ukuran ponsel tidak menjadi besar, dibutuhkan jalur yang bukan hanya 1-2 lapisan melainkan sampai 8 lapisan bahkan lebih, agar jalur-jalur tersebut tidak membutuhkan lahan (area) yang sangat luas.

Kerusakan yang biasanya terjadi pada PWB :
1. Korosi sering menjadi penyebab utama dari kerusakan PWB, jalur-jalur PWB sangat kecil dan tipis, akibat korosi jalur menjadi terbutus,
2. Konsleting, hubung singkat secara elektronis bisa mengakibatkan jalur putus, sama halnya dengan sebuah sikring, bila arus listrik yang melewati kawat/jalur melebihi dari kapasitasnya maka jalur tersebut akan terbakar bahkan putus,
3. Benturan keras sering kali terjadi akibat ponsel jatuh atau terlempar keras bisa mengakibatkan PWB menjadi bengkok, jalur-jalur yang terdapat di lapisan tengah sangat rentan sekali terhadap tekukan,
4. Ceroboh atau kesalahan dalam melakukan penyolderan yang mengakibatkan terminal-terminal jalur terputus,
5. Penggunaan Solder atau Hotair terlalu panas atau melebihi batas suhu yang dianjurkan.

Microsoft telah merilis Windows 8 dalam konferensi BUILD yang digelar di Anaheim, California, Selasa (13/9/2011). Windows 8 yang diperkenalkan memang baru versi bagi para pengembang atau disebut developer preview.
Namun demikian, bukan berarti Anda tak bisa mencobanya. Semua orang dapat mencobanya gratis dengan mengunduh dari situs yang telah disediakan Microsoft. Ada tiga versi yang disediakan masing-masing dua untuk sistem 64 bit dan satu untuk 32 bit. Berikut tiga versi yang disediakan berikut link untuk mengunduh masing-masing versi.

Ukuran file dari masing-masing pilihan di atas bervariasi, mulai dari 2,8 GB untuk yang paling atas, 3,6 GB untuk yang tengah dan 4,8 GB untuk yang paling bawah. HOW TO MAKE A CARTOON FILM

• PRODUCE AN ANIMATED FILM YOURSELF WITH LITTLE MONEY.

There are several ways to make your own cartoon film without too much money. You can also make a film of your animation drawings without expensive sound tracks. You will need a 16mm or 8mm motion picture camera that is able to shoot one frame at a time and a wooden frame to support the camera as it points down at the animation artwork.

• MAKE A WOODEN CAMERA STAND.

The camera will be mounted to the frame in a fixed position, allowing only one field size. The frame is attached to a baseboard, and the animation drawings are placed on a set of pegs attached to the baseboard.

• GET THE CAMERA ADJUSTED ON THE STAND CORRECTLY.

Determine the distance the camera lens needs to be from the artwork to photograph a full animation field (12" x 8-3/4"), then focus the lens to that distance. If necessary, make film tests to be sure the field size and focus are correct. Be sure the camera is not tipped at an angle and attach the camera to the wooden frame. Then tape the pegs to the baseboard.

• PUT SOME LIGHTS ON THE SIDES TO LIGHT THE ARTWORK.

Floodlights are mounted at an angle on both sides of the camera stand above the artwork. Make film tests to determine the proper aperture. It is best if the lights are strong enough for a small aperture opening, but if the lens needs to be wide open, it will take less light and, thus, less heat.

• HOW TO ELIMINATE THE EXPENSIVE COMPOUND MECHANISM.

Instead of taping down the metal peg bar, it is better to use an animation drawing disc (shown on page 218). This drawing disc should have both top and bottom sliding peg bars. This allows you to include moving pan backgrounds with the animation drawings.

• ELIMINATE THE EXPENSIVE PLATEN.

The animation drawings are lit by a light box built under the disc. The box should be well-ventilated, and mirrors are used to intensify the light and reduce the bulb wattage and heat. Two layers of animation can be shot over a moving pan background as the camera sees through the papers. (TV animation producers make pencil tests this way.) The elaborate platen frames that hold the artwork down can be duplicated by placing a thick sheet of plate glass over the animation art by hand.

• YOU DON´T HAVE TO HAVE A COSTLY STOP-MOTION MECHANISM, YOU CAN KEEP TRACK OF THE FRAME COUNT YOURSELF ON THE EXPOSURE SHEET.

Animation camera stands have a single-frame, stop-motion motor assembly that operates by pushing a button or a foot lever. A film counter is attached to this mechanism to record the number of frames photographed. You can duplicate this process by operating the camera by hand for each frame. Make a check on each frame on the exposure sheet after it is photographed.

• WHY NOT MAKE A COLOR ANIMATED FILM WHILE YOU´RE AT IT?

However, before you begin filming, you must prepare the animation artwork. Transfer the animation drawings onto cels (.05mm celluloid sheets), which are available at many art supply stores, with ink or brush and ink. Then paint the backgrounds and color the characters with water-based acrylic paint. Buy one pint each of black, white, red, blue, and yellow acrylic house paint and mix these colors to make the full spectrum of colors, in all shades. Studios use the same type of paint to paint backgrounds in flat opaque areas - similar to poster art.

• A VERY EFFECTIVE SPONGE PAINTING METHOD USED BY THE PROFESSIONALS.

An effective technique is to dip a sponge into the paint and then dab the backgrounds with the sponge, creating a stipple effect. For sharp edges, an area in a cel is cut out and placed over the background to serve as a mask. Different colors stippled in layers can create textures that look like stones, bare earth, trees, clouds, etc.

• YOU CAN MAKE ANIMATED ILLUSTRATIONS USING THE CUTOUT METHOD, IT TAKES LESS TIME THAN YOU MAY THINK.

Animated cutouts can replace the inked and painted cel with art. Your animation drawings can be reproduced on a copy machine to make paper copies. Paint these copies in watercolor with any kind of shading you prefer, then cut them out with scissors or a pen knife. Place a cel over your original animation drawing and use rubber cement or paste to attach the cutout to the cel in exactly the same position as the animation.

• HERE IS A REAL PROFESSIONAL SECRET METHOD TO MAKE IN-BETWEENS BETTER AND EASIER.

To make the in-between drawings that will help you with the animation, place the two drawings that are being in-betweened on the pegs with a blank sheet on top for the in-between. Make a light rough sketch of the in-between in the desired position, then take the in-between and the top animation drawing off the pegs. Place the top animation drawing at any angle position over the bottom drawing to make the two drawings coincide closely. Hold the top drawing down and place the in-between drawing over both animation drawings in the closest in-between position you can adjust. The corners of the in-between drawing will be in an inbetween position of the animation drawing corners - allowing for the arc of the in-between. Hold all drawings down at the top (or make a contrivance that will) and make the in-between. It is much easier this way.

Processor: The central processing unit (CPU) is the controlling component of your laptop computer. Processor speeds for computers are measured in gigahertz (GHz). Multi-core processors have more than one processor core on the same chip. Speed ratings for these processors indicate the speed of each individual core. The faster the speed, and the more cores the laptop processor has, the more tasks the laptop can do simultaneously.
Hard drive: The hard drive is the memory storage of your laptop. A big hard drive allows you to install more, larger programs and save more files. Today's high-performance laptop computers have hard drives with hundreds of gigabytes of storage space. Typical hard drives run at 5,400 rpm, but you can get a performance boost with a 7,200 or even 10,000 rpm hard drive.
System memory: Random access memory (RAM) is one of the main components that will make your laptop run faster. A lot of RAM will allow your computer to run more programs simultaneously, as well as work with larger multimedia programs. A Web-browsing laptop needs about 2 GB of RAM, while an entertainment laptop can have anywhere from 4 to 8 GB.
Screen: Laptop screens use thin liquid crystal display (LCD) screens. You get the clearest picture running your laptop display at the native resolution, which is the resolution at which the image matches the exact number of pixels on the screen. The higher the laptop screen's native resolution, the more detailed the picture quality will be.
Optical drive: The laptop's optical drive is its DVD or CD drive. Most new laptops come with a DVD+/-RW drive, also called the burner, which reads and writes blank DVDs and CDs in all formats. These are handy for backing up your important files as well as putting your home videos onto a disc. Some smaller laptops save on space and weight by not having an optical drive to, but the vast majority of notebook computers will have them.
External ports: The number of external ports varies from laptop to laptop. All will have at least a couple of USB ports. You might also look for a VGA port if you want to connect to a separate monitor or a projector. Your laptop computer may also feature memory card slots for MMC and SD cards.
Networking: An Ethernet port will allow you to connect through an Ethernet cable to a network. Wireless connections, using a wireless-G or wireless-N signal, are nearly universal in newer laptops. Lots of families now set up home wireless networks, too, so they can use their laptop to surf the Web from the sofa or at the breakfast table.
Video card: Also called graphics cards, video cards generate graphics on your laptop display. All laptop CPUs have a graphics controller, which allows the computer to display basic video and graphics. A video card, however, is an extra device that takes the load off the processor, allowing the laptop to run smoothly and quickly when playing movies or working with photos. Some video cards have their own system memory, which makes for faster, more seamless performance.
